Daren Sammy has been punished for blasting umpiring inconsistencies, as frustration over key calls boiled over in Australia’s first Test against the West Indies in Barbados.

West Indies skipper Roston Chase was upset about the umpiring controversy during the Test match. Third umpire in the game, Adrian Holdstock, did make a few questionable umpiring decisions, which the Coach of the West Indian side, Darren Sammy, was also critical of.

Australia ruthlessly completed a 159-run victory over West Indies in the first test on Friday as Nathan Lyon swept up the tail after Josh Hazlewood's five-wicket masterclass broke the hosts' resistance on a pitch that deteriorated into a bowler's paradise.
