Luke Weaver felt fine about everything in his return for the New York Yankees except the fastball Ramón Urías hit for a go-ahead homer in the eighth inning.

“Last year was very unknown,” Weaver said of his first season with the Yankees, when he began as a multi-inning reliever, graduated to a high-leverage role, then ended up closing the final month of the regular season and throughout the playoffs.

The right-hander, activated from the injured list earlier Friday, surrendered a solo home run to lead-off batter Ramon Urias in the eighth inning to send the Yankees to a 5-3 loss to the Orioles before a sellout crowd of 47,034 at Yankee Stadium.
