Gov. Phil Murphy called on Rutgers to investigate the gymnastics program this summer, calling allegations “really ugly and very disturbing.”

The four-month $750,000 investigation was conducted by Lowenstein Sandler LLP, which interviewed 62 witnesses, some of whom sat for more than one interview.

Rutgers has placed its embattled gymnastics coach on leave after the findings of an internal investigation were released.
