The Sunset Fire, which has consumed 60 acres of land, was discovered on Tuesday at around 6 p.m. local time, according to Cal Fire. The fire started in the Hollywood Hills region while it was under red flag warnings due to extreme fire weather.

The new blaze lit up near Runyon Canyon, which is in the vicinity of iconic Los Angeles locations and tourist destinations. No homes were said to be damaged.

Sunset Fire initially started 5:57 p.m. Jan. 8 in Los Angeles County. Since its discovery 10 hours ago, it has burned 42.8 acres. Currently, details about the containment of the fire are unknown.
