The Yankees did not necessarily expect to see it against the best bullpen in the major leagues but were thrilled when they erupted for 10 runs in the seventh inning on Tuesday.

Austin Wells had five RBIs in a 10-run seventh inning, hitting a tying single and then his first career grand slam, as the New York Yankees rolled to a 12-3 victory over the San Diego Padres.

Seven of their 10 hits came in the seventh inning as they turned a 3-2 deficit into a 12-3 lead. Wells hit his first career grand slam.
