SACRAMENTO — It was a night to remember for the Guardians’ offense and right-hander Luis Ortíz. The Guardians’ hitters remembered how to keep the line moving and Ortiz remembered what it’s like to throw quality strikes, while limiting walks and hits.

Luis Ortiz pitched six shutout innings and Jose Ramirez and Steven Kwan each had three hits to lead the Cleveland Guardians over the host Athletics.

Luis Ortiz struck out 10 in six shutout innings of two-hit ball and José Ramírez capped a four-run second with his 900th RBI as the Cleveland Guardians beat the Athletics 4-2.
