Divers searched a section of Lake Tahoe on Monday for two people still missing after six others were killed when a boat capsized during a powerful weekend thunderstorm that whipped up high waves, authorities said.

At least six people are dead after a storm swept through Lake Tahoe, capsizing a boat carrying 10 people, the U.S. Coast Guard said.

Seven people died and one remains missing after a 27-foot boat capsized on Lake Tahoe on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
