WWE will be defined by the John Cena Retirement Tour. Now, it seems we have an answer as to who the Doctor of Thuganomics will face at WrestleMania 41.

On the Raw after WrestleMania 40, Rhodes and The Rock faced off in a scintillating promo exchange that strongly hinted at a future match between the two. With Rock currently off the board for Mania, a battle with Cena is probably the next biggest match for the American Nightmare.

John Cena‘s farewell tour will begin at the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere on January 6. WWE announced the news during the December 30 episode of RAW. Cena previously confirmed that he would be at the show.

Much like Sheamus, there isn’t much that Cena hasn’t done in WWE, but winning the IC title is perhaps the most obvious goal for both. Cena is a four-time tag champ, five-time United States Champion and 16-time world champion, but he’s never held the workhorse title.

As of right now, Cody Rhodes is slated to be John Cena’s last-ever WrestleMania opponent.

It’s less than a week until the retirement tour of 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena begins. This year also marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between WWE and Netflix. The first-ever episode of RAW is set to premiere on Netflix on January 6 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles,
