After years of hype, Tesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) robotaxis are finally here. Though you might call it a soft opening, the electric vehicle (EV) maker's much-vaunted autonomous vehicle (AV) network began taking paying rides on Sunday in Austin,

NHTSA pressed Tesla for more information about robotaxi incidents caught on camera and shared widely on social media.

In all, Austin's AV incident dashboard has documented 120 incidents since 2023, and most of them are safety concerns. Other reported incidents about self-driving operations such as Waymo and Zoox include blocking traffic, near misses, nuisance and collisions. But there may be even more incidents with AVs that don't appear on the dashboard.
