The Los Angeles Lakers signed Maryland product Julian Reese to an undrafted free agent contract Friday, bringing the big man in for the NBA Summer League. Reese is the brother of Chicago Sky All-Star Angel Reese and is now set to join her as a professional basketball player.

Julian Reese, the brother of WNBA star Angel Reese, signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Los Angeles Lakers for NBA Summer League.

Following the end of the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers went ahead and brought in a cadre of undrafted free agents. They signed Eric Dixon, a forward from Villanova University who led the NCAA in scoring this past season, to a two-way contract, and they picked up several other players.
