Wizz Air says it will suspend its Abu Dhabi operations starting Sept. 1. The Hungarian low-cost airline cited geopolitical instability, supply chain issues, and limited market access as key challenges.

Low-cost carrier Wizz Air said on Monday it would exit its Abu Dhabi operations and suspend all locally based flights from September due to operational challenges and geopolitical developments in the Middle East.

The airline's annual report revealed that it has a global workforce of more than 8,000 employees, combining international and local expertise hailing from over 100 different nationalities.
