Jimmy Kimmel has taken a fresh swipe at President Trump by wearing a snarky T-shirt while attending a No Kings protest against the Republican leader.

Police estimated about 1,000 to 1,500 people attended the "No Kings" rally on both sides of PGA Boulevard near Campus Drive in Palm Beach Gardens on June 14. The rally was "completely peaceful," with no arrests or issues,

Driving the news: More than 5 million people took part in "No Kings" demonstrations in over 2,100 cities and towns. Dozens of protesters dressed as handmaids from the show "The Handmaid's Tale" for a downtown Fort Worth march. An estimated 10,000 people attended the downtown Dallas protest, which Dallas police said was peaceful and safe.

There were funnel cakes, stands of festival bling and American flags aplenty. Also, the spray of tear gas against nonviolent marchers in Atlanta, rolling waves of anti-Trump resistance coast to coast and a confrontation in Los Angles.

People gathered by the hundreds in cities across the U.S. on Saturday as part of a nationwide day of protest to coincide with a military parade in Washington celebrating 250 years of the United States Army.

More than 1,000 protesters rallied at the Mississippi State Capitol Building for the "No Kings" protest on June 14, which was also Trump's birthday.

Demonstrations in McAllen, Midland, Odessa, Austin and elsewhere in Texas were largely peaceful, as some protests went well into the night.

Legislative attorneys are meeting with the speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives to determine the next steps for a lawmaker who promoted a sign reflecting pursuit of the decapitation of President Donald Trump.
