Arsenal have been handed a massive boost in their bid to sign Rodrygo as the Real Madrid star has now 'formally requested his departure' from the club.

Arsenal are eyeing a move for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo and reports from Spain are claiming that the LaLiga giants could be tempted to sell the Brazilian for around £76.8million

Marca and Cadena SER report that Madrid have set an asking price of €90million (£76.8m) for Rodrygo, and Arsenal are one of the leading candidates to snap up the winger. Rodrygo still has three years to run on his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu, so Madrid's negotiating hand is strong.
