In a bit of a blow Sunday, four-star defensive end Carter Meadows announced his commitment to Michigan instead of Ohio State.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four-star edge rusher Carter Meadows committed to Michigan today over Ohio State and a host of other programs, as the Buckeyes search for a high-level edge in the 2026 class continues Meadows is the No. 72 OVR, No. 9 edge rusher, per the 247Sports composite rankings. He attends Gonzaga in Washington D.C.
