It’s been roughly five months since Monster Hunter Wilds launched and things are rougher than ever on PC. The loot-based boss rush adventure never ran particularly great there but managed to break franchise records on Steam despite the terrible user reviews.

An upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds update is set to make some improvements to the game's generally poor performance on PC, but players are worried that Capcom isn't addressing the game's root issue.

Lagiacrus heralds the arrival of underwater combat in Wilds, as a portion of that fight could take place underwater where you won’t have free access to your weapon. To take it on, you’ll need to have completed the main mission A World Turned Upside Down, and the side mission Forest Doshaguma - available at Hunter Rank 31 or above.
