The NCAA has charged the University of Memphis with academic integrity violations – committed by its men’s basketball and softball programs.

The Memphis Tigers basketball program has found themselves in a tough spot following misconduct involving some of their former players.

The NCAA is penalizing the University of Memphis men’s basketball and softball teams for academic integrity violations. The NCAA found that former Memphis academic counselor Leslie Brooks paid two softball student-athletes to complete coursework for and provide test or quiz answers to a men’s basketball student-athlete.
