Luis Ortiz pitched six shutout innings and Jose Ramirez and Steven Kwan each had three hits to lead the Cleveland Guardians over the host Athletics.

WEST SACRAMENTO (AP) — Luis Ortiz struck out 10 in six scoreless innings of two-hit ball and José Ramírez capped a four-run second with his 900th RBI as the Cleveland Guardians beat the Athletics 4-2 on Saturday night.

The Guardians made it 3-0 in the fifth on a two-out single by David Fry. Kwan started the rally with a single to right for his second hit of the game and his sixth of the series. Lane Thomas popped out for the second out of the inning, but Jose Ramirez singled to move Kwan to second.
