Liverpool's Portuguese forward Diogo Jota was probably speeding when the Lamborghini car he was driving crashed in northwestern Spain, killing him and his brother, police said in a preliminary report on Tuesday.

The Liverpool star and his brother, Andre Silva, were killed last week when Jota's Lamborghini crashed and burst into flames

The soccer star had reportedly opted to take the longer route because he’d been advised by doctors not to get on a plane while recovering from a lung-related surgery.
