Max Homa posted his best finish of the 2025 PGA Tour season at the John Deere Classic, but that didn't stop the haters from coming in full force.

The PGA Tour has just 18 holes left at TPC Deere Run for the 2025 John Deere Classic on Fourth of July weekend. The friendly confines of northern Illinois offer up a chance for another first-time winner as the field is relatively light on star power entering the final round Sunday.

With the PGA Tour's top stars taking Fourth of July week off, there was little movement on the money list after the John Deere Classic.

Roy, who is making his 50th PGA Tour start this week, shot a 62 in Detroit eight days ago and went on to finish T8 in the Rocket Classic. In Saturday's third round at TPC Deere Run he posted birdies on his first four holes and has taken the lead in his quest for his first Tour win.
