It's no secret by now that Suicide Squad: KIll the Justice League has been a major commercial disappointment for publisher Warner Bros. Games. But it seems the game flopped so hard, and that's partially responsible for the Wonder Woman game by Monolith being cancelled too.

Earlier this week, WB Games announced that it had scrapped its solo Wonder Woman game and closed down its studio Monolith Productions for good, alongside MultiVersus developer Player First and WB Games San Diego in a move the publisher called a "strategic change in direction."

Monolith's Wonder Woman game was reportedly cancelled, in part, due to the massive failure of games like Suicide Squad and Multiversus.
