The arson evidence stems from allegations that someone tossed a Molotov cocktail into rapper Kid Cudi's car. Federal prosecutors want to tighten their case against Sean Combs, asking a judge to strike language regarding "attempted" kidnapping and arson from jury instructions, according to court documents filed Tuesday.

As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial for sex trafficking and racketeering approaches its closing arguments, the prosecution has issued a letter amending their case to the court.

On Wednesday, prosecutors told the court that kidnapping, obstruction of justice and arson are no longer part of the jury's consideration.
