The hope for Notre Dame was that it only would miss All-American guard Hannah Hidalgo for one game. Her absence against Clemson proved a footnote as the Irish picked up a win on the road.

Since Hannah Hidalgo arrived at Notre Dame, the Irish have been able to count on her availability. That's a good thing considering she's become one of the best players in women's basketball. That luck finally ran out though.
