The city's extended dry spell comes on the heels of significant rain events in late 2024, which had temporarily alleviated drought concerns. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, state reservoirs remain at reasonable levels for now, but a prolonged dry season could alter this outlook.
The NWS has issued a Wind Advisory for the Bay Area due to strong northerly winds, affecting various regions until 10 AM.
