The bombshell lawsuit, which was viewed by The Post, was filed last week in State Supreme Court in Westchester County.

The removal of any player from the Hall of Fame is unlikely, but not impossible. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum's BBWAA rules for election do not outline any process for removing an inductee, and there is no precedent for removing an inductee who has already been enshrined.

The girl, now 17, filed a lawsuit on January 16, seeking unspecified damages for negligent supervision and premises liability.

The accusations were made in a lawsuit filed by a “Jane Doe,” who claims she was abused by an older girl, identified as “MG,” during a summer internship in 2018 at the Ignite Life Center in Gainesville, Florida. FOX reported that Ignite Life is “affiliated with Rivera’s church.”
