Vegas Golden Knights forward Victor Olofsson will be out against the Buffalo Sabres with an illness. The 29-year-old was set to play his former team for the first time since signing with the Golden Knights in the offseason, but he'll have to wait until the team travels to Buffalo on Mar. 15 to get that opportunity.

Howden notched an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sabres. Howden had gone two games without a point, his longest drought in three weeks. The 26-year-old ended the short dry spell when he set up Tanner Laczynski for the opening goal at 4:53 of the first period.
