The Timberwolves have a roster that has made back-to-back Western Conference Finals with the help of veteran additions like Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley and Julius Randle -- all players who are 30 or more years old and in the twilight of their careers.

Minnesota Timberwolves president Tim Connelly revealed that several 2025 NBA draft prospects agreed to contracts with teams before the start of the second round.

That's because, during an appearance on ESPN's The Pat McAfee Show, NBA insider Shams Charania reported that the selection, which sits at the top of Thursday night's second round, is "currently in the process of being auctioned off to the highest bidder."
