Fox News anchor Bret Baier backed the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) amid the ongoing fight between the organization and the Trump administration over control of which outlets are allowed in key White House spaces.

The White House’s move to take control of which outlets participate in the press pool is a break from a century of tradition with the White House Correspondents’ Association.

D: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the White House would now determine which outlets will be members of the press pool, the smaller group of journalists who are allowed in to events in the Oval Office or travel with the president on Air Force One.
