Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Hunter Bigge appeared to be on the mend after a terrifying scene Thursday when he was struck in the face by a foul ball.

Tampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Hunter Bigge was carted off after taking a line drive to the head during Thursday night's game against the Baltimore Orioles.

Bigge was talking to a teammate in the dugout when a foul ball hit him directly in the head. He had to be stretchered off the field.
