Three people were killed, four were injured and nine others are missing after a small boat overturned early Monday in the ocean off San Diego, sheriff’s officials said.

At least three people are dead and seven others, including two children, are missing after a "panga"-style fishing vessel washed ashore near San Diego on May 5, authorities said. Crews responded to a report of the overturned vessel off the coast of Del Mar shortly after 6:30 a.m. local time, officials told KABC-TV.
