Without a single witness, prosecutors said the crew stole 24 bags from a Brinks truck filled with Rolex watches, diamond earrings, and gold necklaces.

An elaborate scheme to stalk and rob truck drivers hauling millions of dollars of jewelry and other high-end merchandise has resulted in criminal charges against seven alleged co-conspirators, the Justice Department announced Tuesday.

The July 2022 heist resulted in the theft of "approximately $100 million worth of gold, diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and luxury watches," the U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release.
