Astros star Yordan Alvarez’s return to the diamond took another snag on Tuesday when he had his hand fracture rehab shut down, which has his status for the rest of this season up in the air.

The Houston Astros offense cruised through June despite the absence of slugger Yordan Alvarez. Houston's offense will now look to stay hot sans Alvarez through much of July, and possibly into October.

Yordan Alvarez said he felt pain in his right hand after taking 'some swings' against live pitching in Florida and has been shut down.
