Tyler Bremner, a pitcher from UC Santa Barbara, was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels. The MLB draft took place in July 2025. Bremner was the second overall pick. His mother, Jen Bremner, passed away in June after battling breast cancer.

The question for the Angels coming into the draft was if they’d use the No. 2 pick to continue their strategy under GM Perry Minasian.
