In a statement shared with Mashable, John T. Kelley, vice president and show director of CTA, acknowledged security concerns following the explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas on New Year's Day.

On Wednesday, a cybertruck outside Trump Tower in Las Vegas exploded after fireworks inside detonated leaving one person dead and other injured.

Investigators are still trying to determine the motive of the driver, who was killed in the apparently intentional blast.
