A man has been accused of impersonating an NBA agent and stealing $769,000 worth of earrings-and swallowing the jewelry while under arrest. According to court documents filed by the Orlando Police Department,

A suspected thief gulped down two pairs of diamond earrings during his arrest on the side of a Florida Panhandle highway last week, detectives say, leaving them with the unenviable task of waiting to “collect” the Tiffany & Co. jewelry worth nearly $770,000.

Jaythan Gilder, 32, allegedly swiped two pairs of earrings worth $769,500 from a Tiffany & Co. in Orlando before taking the expensive gulp, police said.
