OU led 5-1 heading into the fifth inning before the Longhorns struck five runs in the frame to take a 6-5 lead. Sooners starter Cade Crossland was responsible for all the runs scored in the inning as Texas battered Oklahoma pitching to the tune of four hits, two walks and a hit batter in the fifth.

Max Belyeu returned to the Texas baseball team's lineup in time to lead the Longhorns to a conference championship. Belyeu's three-run homer in the ninth inning was the difference in Texas' 7-4 win at Oklahoma on Thursday night.
