TD Garden, Caitlin Clark and Indiana Fever

Despite a pedestrian stat line from Caitlin Clark, the Fever's star put on an unforgettable performance at the TD Garden for thousands of WNBA fans.
In the WNBA's return to Boston, superstar Clark struggled from the field to post 14 points, but Indiana still had enough to top Connecticut.
That was the last game Clark played before she missed nearly a month with a quad ailment. She returned, ironically enough, against the Liberty on June 14, and put up her best performance of the season, scoring 32 points in a 102-88 triumph, one that ended New York's perfect start to the season at nine games.
The sharp-shooting Indiana Fever star was being evaluated for a groin injury after she left in the final minute of Tuesday night’s 85-77 win over the Sun in Connecticut.
