A San Diego State University student is believed to be among those who were injured in a suspected terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in Louisiana Wednesday.

The University of Georgia has confirmed that at least one of those injured in the Wednesday terrorist attack in New Orleans was a student at the school. UGA President Jere Morehead noted in a post to the university's X account that they "have learned that a University of Georgia student was critically injured in the attack and is receiving medical treatment.
