Devin Williams and Luke Weaver struggled, as the Yankees dropped their third straight game with a 4-3 loss to the San Diego Padres on Monday night.

The start of the Yankees and Padres series opener has been delayed due to rain. First pitch was originally scheduled for 7:10 p.m. but it will now take place at 7:30 p.m. instead. Rain has been in the forecast in the Bronx all day, but it appears there's a window for them to get the action in.

The Padres swept both series last week, two against the Giants and three over the weekend in Pittsburgh to move to within a half-game of the Dodgers in the division. The Padres are 8-7 on the road so far this year and their plus-38 run differential ranks sixth in the majors. The Yankees took two of three last year at Petco Park.
