San Diego Padres pitcher Robert Suarez was issued a three-game suspension and an undisclosed fine by Major League Baseball for intentionally hitting Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers.San Diego manager Mike Shildt and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts also received one-game suspensions that were served on Friday when the Padres played Kansas City and the Dodgers faced Washington.

Both managers were ejected in the top of the ninth after they ran onto the field and bumped into each other during an argument.
