Mattel has introduced its first Barbie doll with representing someone with Type 1 diabetes. The doll, part of the Fashionistas line, includes realistic medical accessories like a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump — as well as an outfit that pays homage to diabetes awareness.

The Barbie Fashionistas line also features a blind Barbie doll, a Barbie doll that uses a wheelchair and a Barbie doll with Down syndrome, according to the press release and Mattel website.

Mattel released the first-ever Barbie doll with type 1 diabetes (T1D) on Wednesday (July 9). The mainline Barbie debuted alongside a one-of-a-kind doll made in the likeness of British model Lila Moss, who herself has type 1 diabetes.
