Katy Perry is going to space. The award-winning "E.T." and "Firework" singer will fly on a firework of her own when she joins the first all-female crew to launch on a Blue Origin New Shepard rocket later this year.

Blue Origin New Shepard’s next flight will be all-female with Katy Perry, Gayle King and Jeff Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sánchez among the six passengers.

In November 2023, TV host and MIT engineer Emily Calandrelli, also known as “Space Gal,” became the 100th woman to reach space on Blue Origin’s NS-28 mission. Now, Amanda Nguyen will be making history as well.
