The Chicago Bears took swift action to upgrade their offensive line with two huge trades, which has reshuffled their list of needs as 2025 NFL free agency approaches.

The Chicago Bears are retooling their offensive line, making two trades in less than 24 hours acquiring two former Pro Bowl linemen. The first of the two trades saw Chicago send a sixth-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for offensive guard Jonah Jackson, a former Pro Bowl selection during his time with the Detroit Lions.

Their work is hardly done, but the decision to move Jackson will give the Rams some additional ammo in the 2025 NFL draft. In return for the veteran guard, the Rams received a 2025 sixth-round pick from the Bears.
