Bonner was arguably the Fever's biggest free agent signing this past offseason. Indiana inked Bonner to a one-year, $200,000 contract in the hopes that the two-time WNBA champion and six-time WNBA All-Star could impart some veteran leadership and championship pedigree into the franchise.

The Indiana Fever have waived DeWanna Bonner after they were unable to find a trade partner for the disgrunted 16-year veteran. The six-time All-Star has not played since June 10

Two-time WNBA champion DeWanna Bonner was waived on Wednesday after playing just nine games with the Indiana Fever. She stepped away from the team following their 77-58 loss to the Atlanta Dream on June 10 and never returned to the court.
