Rhodes became the 2025 King of the Ring at the WWE Night of Champions PLE on Saturday afternoon in Saudi Arabia. Rhodes defeated Randy Orton in the finals of that tournament to win and now has a world championship match scheduled for Summerslam against John Cena.

Rhodes began 2025 as the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, starting his year with a successful, hard-fought title defense against Kevin Owens in a Ladder Match at the Royal Rumble. His championship run came to a stunning end at WrestleMania 41 when he was defeated by a newly heel John Cena in the main event of Night 2.

According to a reliable source, Roman Reigns won't be the only WWE Superstar to feature in the live-action Street Fighter movie, as Cody Rhodes is in talks to play
